We are proud to share that the The JP McManus Pro Am social media campaign was a huge success.
Ahead of the event and working along side DMC Communications, we were able to sell out all 35,000 tickets within just 7 weeks of starting the marketing campaign. This was due to the combination of teasing player announcements and creating engaging content around the event venue, Adare Manor, which will also host the 2027 Ryder Cup.
During the event, we continued to engage with our audience through live social media coverage of the scores, interviews with the crowds and videos of the players warming up on the range and also hole-by-hole coverage around the course. This helped to create a sense of excitement and anticipation leading up to the event.
There was roughly 35,000 people in attendance each day at Adare Manor.
We also created social media banners, general content and videos promoting the JP McManus Pro-Am as a sustainable event. This helped to attract a wider audience who were interested in not just the golf but also the environmental aspect of the event. Working with the team at Adare Manor, they achieved the ISO’s International Sustainability Standard 2021 for the Pro-Am.
The social channels are: Instagram, Twitter and Facebook
Xander Schauffele won the tournament with a score of -10 beating the top golfers in the world such as Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Rickie Fowler, Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Adam Scott, Jordan Speith, Brooks Koepka, Colin Morikawa, Padraig Harrington, and Justin Thomas.
